Is splitting bonuses legal/safe?
Yes. Referral bonuses and move-in specials are offered by buildings and management companies. Splitting them with another renter is a private agreement between you two. NestBonus doesn’t hold money—you and your match agree on terms and get paid by the building or each other after the lease is signed.
How do you verify deals?
Deals are submitted by the community. We review listings and may mark some as verified when we can confirm the offer (e.g. link to building or proof). Always confirm details with the property before signing.
Do I need to pay anything?
No. NestBonus is 100% free for renters. Browse deals, post your building’s offer, and request matches at no cost.
What if someone doesn’t pay the split?
We encourage users to agree on the split in chat and honor it. NestBonus doesn’t process payments—the building pays the referral. If you agreed to split with your match, it’s between you two; we recommend agreeing in writing (e.g. in-app chat) before the lease is signed.
Why use NestBonus instead of Facebook or Craigslist?
